I’m Peter Carruthers, and I’ve spent the past three decades helping small business owners recover, rebuild, and reinvent themselves after setbacks.

WebPension.net is a natural extension of that mission.

Many of the business owners I’ve helped now face retirement with little to show for their years of hard work. Some lost everything in a closure. Others got by, but never built a pension. Most have deep industry knowledge—but no roadmap for turning that knowledge into income.

That’s where this begins.

My focus is helping experienced professionals create sustainable, low-risk income in retirement by tapping into what they already have:

• Industry expertise
• Relationships with people still in the industry
• Connections to others in the same boat

There are two simple paths:

• Path One: Share what you know—your insights, your stories, your skills—with people who need them. Turn that into content, consulting, or community.
• Path Two: Help others find the right tools, services, and solutions—without creating any yourself. Become the bridge, not the builder.

One of my biggest takeaways from my own collapse is this:
Run lean. Take no personal risks. Never sign guarantees. Avoid big monthly bills.
And build something that taps into the global economy—not just your local one.

This isn’t retirement in the traditional sense.
It’s your second wind—a smarter way to earn from what (and who) you already know.

You don’t need a degree, a storefront, or a startup. You just need a system. And someone who’s done it before.
